Hogfest 45 History Challenge Event Event Cache

We are planning our second geocache event to occur the Saturday of our community’s annual Hogfest celebration. This will be the 45th! This year will be extra special because the village is celebrating its centennial.  (www.englefeld.ca) There will be a food booth north of the school and of course the famous roast pork supper at 5:00 in the rink.

We will meet at 12:30 (after the 10:00 parade) on Saturday July 2, 2016 at the listed coordinates (in the former Country Craft & Cone store west of the Hotel). We will spend a little time signing the log and meeting each other over a cup of coffee or juice.  Then you will have the chance to learn a little of our town’s history with the Wherigo I am hoping to have ready, or with the geocache challenge coordinates and questions. The whole event should last around an hour depending on how long the Wherigo and the history challenge take you.

If you have any trading items or any TBs or geocoins that you want to move on please bring them. Everyone who attends will receive a souvenir path tag and a chance at some prizes.
