A new Albion library is currently under construction immediately to the north of the current building and is projected to be completed in the fall of 2017. Once completed, the current building will be converted into a parking lot for the branch.
At the moment, Albion library is located at 1515 Albion road.
In addition to material in English, Albion hosts collections in 16 different languages. These include : Chinese, French, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, Italian, Panjabi, Spanish, Urdu, Bengali, Persian, Somali, Tagalog (DVDs only), Telugu and Vietnamese
A newer addition to library services is the scanner availalble on request.
Albion Library has hosted a Foodie Festival for a number of years in its parking lot (now building site for new branch). This festival has had more than 2000 residents come to try the food sensations.
Albion was also a stop on the Pan Am Torchbearer tour prior to the Pan Am games in 2015.
