Come discover the Historical Square and surrounding side streets of downtown Forsyth, the county seat of Monroe County. Snag a few caches while in town. Enjoy walking around and shopping, grab a bite to eat, visit the Welcome Center. The Methodist church a block over plays hymns at various times of the day. Great place to live.
Stop in the public library to read the local news or rest your feet while on your way to the cache. Remains of old county jail office and barbed wire fence in the area you need to park in to look for cache. BYOP Please do not climb on fence or try to go inside fenced off area of community building. Cache is not inside fenced off area. Permission given to hide cache at it's location. Better to look during daylight hours as Funeral home and neighborhood may be very busy in the evenings.
