NOTE: cache disappeared during works on the causeway (presumably a local farmer is now in possession of a lovely hardy giant ammo can). Replaced this week with a small size cache. No room for swaps. Coords are out and due to no phone reception I can't find new ones. Not far from the old cache. You'll need to park near the big tree, where the obvious parking space is. Cache is on this same side of the causeway but instead of looking down as per the old cache, look up. You want to be admiring the smaller tree in the clearing to find this.
I placed this cache on a lovely quiet single lane dirt road. Although it is quiet, locals can roar along here so watch out for cars approaching as you drive. Please be aware that there are snakes in summer and mud in winter! If you're a night cacher you will need to be hyper-aware of wombats as they love this area. If you seek this cache of an evening you'll be treated to Kangaroos (often on the road) and wombats plodding along.
The GPS might be a little bit out on this one due to the trees and terrible Exeter phone reception if using a phone GPS. Follow Stonequarry Creek Road all the way to the causeway and park just after the first causeway. there is a little turn off, enough for one car.
