If you hear a group of Cub Scouts chanting "Bacon, bacon, bacon and Den 1 rules!" then you know you've found the creaters of this cache. The location was chosen because it is close to where the Den meetings take place. This will allow the Scouts to maintain the cache and help to pick up litter while doing so.
The cache is a gallon sized container wrapped in black tape. The initial contents are numerous scouting patches. There should still be plenty of room for you to trade out with larger items, but you may find a cool patch or two that you like. If you happen to have some old patches to put in the cache, it would be a good fit.
You can easily park near the entrance to the subdivision and get to the cache within a minute. There should be no bushwacking, but be prepared for steep terrain with possible loose footing, depending on the recent weather.
Please re-hide the cache in the same manner as it was hidden.
