Calling all Guam Geocachers. Summer is upon us once again and it’s time to travel. Join us to find out winners from last year’s race and join this year’s TB Race. This year we will have two categories, most distance with the trackable staying with the owner and the most distance travelled with the trackable moving in the traditional way, cache to cache, from one geocacher to another.
Two Categories:
1. Most distance traveled with trackable held by owner.
2. Most distance traveled in the traditional way, cache to cache, from one geocacher to another.
Rules:
The following rule sets are available/planned on tb-run.com.
1. TB needs to get as many miles (km) as possible in the given time. There is a start (June 18, 2016) and end date (May 20, 2017).
2. Winners are:
A. Owner of the TB that travels the farthest with trackable held by owner throughout the race.
B. Owner of the TB that travels the farthest with trackable moving in the traditional manner, from cache to cache, geocacher to
geocacher.
3. New TBs, personal TBs, as well as TBs that are currently travelling can participate in the race. Only mileage traveled during the race
time will be counted.
4. The race will end on Saturday, the 20th of May 2017.
5. Prizes will be awarded as soon as possible after the end of the race period.
Interested? If you want to participate and don’t have a travel bug, there will be travel bugs and silencers available for purchase at the event. After you have your TB ready, here is what to do:
1) CREATE and ACTIVATE a TRAVEL BUG or Geocoin.
A. Any Travel Bug or Geocoin (with or without miles) may be used in this race.
B. Only two Travel Bugs per registered geocacher can participate in the race.
2) REGISTER YOUR OWN ACCOUNT at TB-RUN.
The GuamBug2016 TB Race will be tracked through the "tb-run" website. You will need an account to join our race.

4) DROP YOUR BUG in a cache, give it to a friend, or move it yourself. It's up to you to get your TB moving along and hopefully win the race.

Entries for new this year’s race will be accepted beginning Saturday, June 18, 2016 through Saturday, July 16, 2016.
