17. července 1968 se Beatles zúčastnili v London Paladium premiéry filmu Žlutá ponorka. Čtveřice se na vzniku animovaného filmu podílela minimálně a kresleným hrdinům ani nepropůjčila své hlasy. V příběhu pomáhají kreslené postavičky Beatles osvobodit obyvatele podmořského Pepperlandu od Modrých zlounů. Film doprovází písně Beatles, z nichž dvě se staly velehity - Yellow Submarine a All You Need is Love.
17th July, 1968 the Beatles attended the premiere of the film Yellow Submarine in London Pavilion. Foursome participated in the creation of this animated film at least and even they didn't lend their voices to animated heroes. In this story animated characters of the Beatles help to fight some liberate residents of undersea Pepperland against Blue Evils. During the whole film we can hear The Beatles' songs. Two of them became tophits - Yellow Submarine and All You Need is Love.
