zoeandzeke: So sad this one didn't even last one full year! I was proud of this hide! I saw some construction a few days back when I drove by on I-35, so I took a closer look over Spring Break....horseshoe park...GONE, just like the old wooden park! Looks like they're creating something new and exciting, and if I can keep my eyes on it, I will hide a remembrance cache in a nearby location when it's finished! Thanks to all those that grabbed a smiley!

Geocache Description:


Checked on a Dunkin cache, bought two drinks to earn two free donuts for the kids on National Donut Day (just our way of helping to celebrate), and I told the kids we'd go to a park to eat....who wants all of that white powder in their car?  I had this park in mind because we'd been to a similar one in Midwest City, but never to this one, and I was pretty sure there were no nearby caches.  Pulled into the parking lot, and it was GONE!  Who knew?  Betcha didn't know (because we sure didn't) there's a pretty sophisticated horeshoe throwing "park" in the middle of nowhere!  Bring your horseshoes and grab a smiley!
