This cache will be archived sometime around October 11, as the UCA 2016 season is ending soon.
Congratulations to Stick People for FTF!
This is part of a series of 16 geocaches placed near outdoor art installations. The geocaches will only be available until mid-October. There will also be a bonus geocache for those who find all 16 in the series (look for a number between 1 and 99 on the logbook or container). For other geocaches in the series, see the bookmark list UCA 2016.
Stop 3: "Alternate View" by Holly Carr
Artist's description of the installation:"An environment within an environment. Each panel is a visual interpretation of the literal views within the garden. At night the installation is lit from the interior and acts as a glowing marker, a reminder of all that surrounds it during the cover of night."
The geocache is hidden at N 45 06.3AB W 064 17.6CD. To determine the final coordinates, answer the following simple questions:
- Is the large bird black? If it is, then A=6. Otherwise A=2.
- What is the largest insect? If it is a bee, then B=1. If it is a butterfly ,then B=3. If it is a dragonfly, then B=9.
- How many woolly creatures are in the field overlooking Blomidon? Call this "C"
- How many legs does the furry creature under the crow have? Call this "D"
To check your answer, A+B=15 and C+D=6.
