GSAK is a software program that can be used in conjunction with your geocaching to help your find and filter lists of caches.
This is an introductory course.
GSAK software is free (at first) but the nagging advertisements to purchase it make the software slower and slower over time. Purchase (or not) is completely up to the user, and is not covered in this class. It is helpful if you try to use GSAK before this event so you know what you are looking at.
The event is at ACC Elgin, room 1143 (1st floor multipurpose room) at 7pm-9pm.
It is recommended that you bring a writing tool, and something to take notes on, (paper and a clip board). We will not have tables so that we can get enough chairs into the room. Bring your own snacks and beverages. There is a water fountain on site.
Commute traffic can get a little thick around Manor TX. Hopefully this event is late enough to avoid most of the commute traffic.
