Chance's Secret Passage Traditional Cache

While out hiking in the Mourne Mountains with Chance, my two year old Red Merle Border Collie, we ventured off-piste a little to explore a rock formation which I could see from The Brandy Pad track.  When I got there, I discovered a 'secret passage' in which this cache has been placed.

The cache is best tackled from Bloody Bridge where ample free car parking is available at N 54 10.467 W 005 52.422 (waypoint added).

From there, follow The Brandy Pad, a route popular for smuggling silks, coffee, tea and surprise surprise, brandy in the nineteenth century.

When you reach the old quarry at N 54° 10.298 W 005° 54.976, continue to follow The Brandy Pad uphill and after 300 metres or so, you will see a rock formation 130 metres or so away on your left.  Cross the stream and make your way out to same and the listed co-ordinates will take you to the entrance of the 'secret passage'.

Enter the 'secret passage' and search for the cache.
