Edgewood Cemetery Traditional Cache

Edgewood Cemetery is on Rt 16 on east edge of Litchfield.This is not a 24/7 cache, do not go at night. The cache is a camo preform in the back of the cemetery near some of the oldest graves there. The cemetery is open only during daylight hours. Please respect this and do not search after dark. Please be respectful of your surroundings. There is no need to disturb anything in or around grave stones or grave sites.

Edgewood cemetery is a Lutheran Cemetery. While it is not very large, it is well kept and has beautiful wooded surroundings. The dates on some stones are earlier than the official date of founding of Litchfield. It is interesting to read the epithes.  Beautiful trees to hide a cache in.

Please be respectful of the graves and do not bother flowers or anything around the stones,etc. It is a pleasant place to walk around and enjoy nature.
