Geocache Description:

Find a two digit number near Kidder's Butte to find the final cache near a highway and accessible anytime. There is also a cave near the peak.

There is a two digit number on a metal sign on a big stump in a clearing near the peak. Use this number to find the final cache (see picture). There is great cell and GPS reception up there. The area is open to biking/hiking/hunting day use recreation and is a mix of public and private landowners.

Starting in 2018 you have to get a free recreation permit here: https://nncpermits.com/PermitHome.aspx The link also has fire season closure info.

Most years the gates are open during hunting season after the fire danger is low. During fire season the land may be closed to public entry during level 2 or higher. Two waypoints marked are the peak and a cave south of the peak.
