Geocache Description:


Fish eagals rest is situated  off the coast of gamtoos river mouth on 2 destingtive sand dunes covered with vegitation and surrounded by fossil remains of sand mussels and a coral reef. It's hard to believe that once upon a time the ocean met the sand so high up in the dunes. A beautiful view, fresh air and peace and tranquility makes the trek worthwhile. Often after rain one can see leopard or caracal prints in the sand and proves it's unspoiled splendour. Either take to the dunes or walk on the surf to get there. The trek is about a 3km walk from the end of the lagoon road. Take water
