Due to Hurrican Helene, this area was devastated and it has been almost a year of painstaking cleaning up to be able to resurrect this cache.
Unfortunately, the original location at this time is off limits and behind no tresspassing signs.
Hopefully this will pass and the area will be again viable for people to be safe walking through this iconic space.
For now, the cache container is just outside the restricted area, in a "safer" place.
We all thought Asheville would be safe from such destruction and weather.
At least from the cache location, some of the murals can still be seen and there is progress with bringing some of the venues back.
Skateboarders as through history disregard the no trespassing signs and you may see some back there.
For your own safety, please stay outside the gates, there is no need to go beyond them to find this cache.

The log is clean, but technically not first to find, just "first to find the resurrected log"!
