Although initially employed to develop the skills of protecting property and ushering livestock, Ralf's best talents would become his ability to jump up on to tall structures and give paw gestures. And in his early years, his love of footwear earned him the nickname 'Ralf Shoenicker'! But thruout the years, Ralf proved himself to be the best of loyal companions and was always a source of comfort when times got tuff. Even the cats loved him and mourned for him when he passed....
Ralf was at his happiest when we took him on trips around the fields or rambles to the forest. I chose this location for the cache as it's close to a place we used to enter the forest and also the hilltop where sometimes, we would lie down and marvel at the view in all directions as the sun set. Like all loved ones, pets come and go, but cherished memories live on forever....
