Each year I head out on the road for a mad weekend of caching. This year, my route takes in the North West and east of England, grabbing select caches, such as webcams, virtuals, old 'Jasmer' caches and any counties that I've not previously found a cache in, including Tyne and Wear! I'm camping nearby and this seemed like a decent place to hold the event. Recommended, indeed, by my good friends at NE Geocaching Supplies!
Look for the geocaching logo on one of the tables. Once I'm there I'll post an announcement giving a quick description of where we are.
Please make sure you log a "Will Attend" and indicate how many will be coming, so that I can try and reserve a table big enough. You'll all be responsible for ordering and paying for your own food and drink. However, there is no requirement to buy anything in order to attend this event.
Just before 8pm I'll be drawing a free raffle to determine who can claim FTF for the event, so make sure you get a ticket for your caching team.
Please bring any trackables that you want to swap or need moving on. I'll bring my coin collection for you to admire and discover, if that's your thing.
If you've never been to an event before, please say so in your log so I can make a special effort to make you feel welcome.
