Geocache Description:

A rustic drive to a P&G in Wisconsin's Northern Highland American Legion State Forest.

Enjoy a leisurely drive to secluded Cedar Lake. The Turtle River flows through here on its way out of South Turtle Lake in Winchester, to Catherine Lake, and eventually on to the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. From the Wisconsin DNR's lake index:

Cedar Lake is a 187 acre lake located in Iron County. It has a maximum depth of 21 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

You shouldn't have to be here for long, but don't forget the bug spray!

A Geocache Placement Notification form has been filed with Steve Peterson, NHAL Superintendent.
