High Clearance and 4x4 a must for this cache. A good all wheel drive will work also. Trust me, you will need it. Road may not be open in the winter. You can call the Mount Pinos Ranger station (661-245-3731) for road info or check the Los Padres National Forest web site. I would call if you are driving all the way out here for this road.
These caches can also be hiked or biked to when the road is closed.
