High Clearance and 4x4 a must for this cache. A good all wheel drive will work also. Trust me, you will need it, you may not get out without it Road may not be open in the winter. You can call the Mount Pinos Ranger station (661-245-3731) for road info or check the Los Padres National Forest web site. I would call if you are driving all the way out here for this road.
These caches can also be hiked or biked to when the road is closed.
