Saint Andrew's is the parish church of Rushmere, which is situated to the north east of Ipswich.
The church is in a village setting overlooking fields.
The original building was medieval, but only small parts of that remain.
In the mid 16th century the tower was built and subsequently the church has been extended a number of times.
The interior of the church seems almost to be two different churches with the older darker part on one side and the newer brighter 20th century addition on the other.
There is usually parking available at the front of the church.
You are looking for a bison tube located on a footpath near to the church. Please bring your own pen.
