I love how easy it is to find your way around downtown Snohomish. The streets are simple, A, B, C... and 1st, 2nd, 3rd...
3rd Street goes clear across town, even though there are a couple of blocks that make it look like it is missing in the middle. This cache is placed at the east end of 3rd.
It is close to the Pilchuck River and the skate park in the old Avrill Field. The field was named for Earl Avrill, Snohomish's baseball claim to fame. He was a center fielder who debuted for the Cleveland Indians in 1929. His last baseball appearance was with the Boston Braves in 1941.
