This cache was hidden as part of the
2016 Are You Geocacher Enough? Road Rally

This cache is hidden near the site of an old CCC camp near Houghton Lake.

484 million. That is the amount of trees that were planted in Michigan by enrollees of the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1933 to 1942. Michigan by far had more trees planted by the ‘CCC Boys’ than there were in any other state. Overall, there were 2.3 billion trees planted by the CCC across the entire United States.
