Geocache Description:

This cache is on Strawberry Hill, a beautiful community park with an incredible view on top.

Strawberry Hill is located right next to Horn in the West.  Parking is available at the nearby playground or on Appalachian State's campus after 5pm on weekdays, or anytime on the weekend.  There is a longer trail with a gradual slope on one side of Strawberry Hill, and a shorter trail with a very steep slope on the other side.  Both will eventually lead to the cache. The cache is a small waterproof container with room for some items/travel bugs.  The cache isn't touching poison ivy, but there is definitley some on the surronding trees, so be careful!

Be sure to also check out the hiking trails surrounding Strawberry Hill.
