Bruce Road is a 13km sealed road going from State Highway 47 to the Whakapapa Ski Village.
From State Highway 47 the elevation gain is 959 metres.
Each cache has parking available.
You are looking for a long tube, the terrain is higher because in winter it could be slippy.
There will be times when the road is closed, please do not attempt the caches under these conditions.
The conditions on the mountain can change very quickly and it is recommended that you take provisions on the off chance.
There are no chains for hire at this side of the mountain, and please be careful even if you have a 4WD when descending the mountain, use brakes smoothly and constantly.
