Katie Dog Rip Traditional Cache

A nice walk along tarmac and gravel road with only limited vehicle access for the farm at the top of the lane. Nice views of the surrounding area, leading to a area of small lakes with plenty of walks for dogs and people, also playing field opposite if dog exercising is needed.

This is a cache placed in memory of the walks with a favourite dog Katie who has sadly passed away. We had many days and evenngs walking the dog and watching the wildlife and birds along the way.

You are looking for a micro cache with only space for the log so bring a pencil or pen.

This lane has changed over the years as the area has builtup and the local Home Fire plant shut down, there are many ex-miner houses that are now privatly owned and the depot area is very heavy with traffic. This little lane that links Ash Green Lane and the new? road to the distobution centre is walked by many with their dog and is a lovely tree lined place in the summer evenings.
