Chelly Girl Series #1 Olivers Walk Traditional Cache

This cache is part of the Chelly Girl Series, only a small circular of 7 in total, all straight forward easy finds, and only around 1.5 miles in total. Quite a large Traditional Cache, snap box type in Camouflage Bag so plenty of room for Swappables and Trackables. The route you will take from the church and back is my exact walk with my English Bull Terrier Dog....Oliver, hence cache #1 is named Olivers Walk and will take you right through to #7.

It's a good Series for Geokids, get them to look at the spelling within the Hints and also good for Geodogs but please keep the latter on a lead during road walks and keep Geokids safe from minimal, but even so Farm traffic.

For this cache, you'll pass Illy Willy Water (Bank Pit Spring) please take a look as it serviced the village many, many years ago and there are 2 original troughs left out of 7 in the village.  I'm hoping to continue the Series at a later stage which will take you right through Main Street,passing the existing Troughs on your way.

To start, it's a bit of a climb reaching over 1,400ft (John the Baptist Church is 1,209ft) but you'll agree that once up there, the views of the surrounding areas are lovely, particularly in Summer with the greenery and Winter with a blanket of snow.  Once on top, it soon levels out and by the time you get to the last 2, you'll notice the decline.

Once you have completed the Series, you're not far from your car at all.....turn right at the end of the road and you should see your car parked at the co-ords given.
