This cache is in addition to a number of other caches in this area. The caches can be accessed off McCulloch Rd and then by either following the Browne Lake Forest Service Road or going off the Browne onto the Fish Lake road.
Both Browne and Fish Lakes are part of the McCulloch Reservoir system, a system that not only supplies us with water but also with many enjoyable fishing hours. If you bring along your fishing rod be reminded Browne Lake is an artificial fly only lake.
These caches were placed after a rain, the roads had many puddles and there were many mosquitoes. Fish Lake road becomes rough in some areas with limited opportunities for U-Turns .These areas are only suitable for high clearance vehicles.
If you are proceeding on the Fish Lake road, this is a good place to leave your vehicle it you don’t have high clearance. We parked our vehicle here to continue and walked to further place caches along this road.
