I often place navigation markers for other cachers to follow when I am in remote(ish) areas. This 300ml container is one of those markers.
As you head up past Pa Punanga and Holdsworth Lookout to find the old track that takes you over Gentle Annie Saddle and Carrington Ridge you will get to point where you may wish to stop for lunch. The tree here provides a lovely seat complete with back rest.
When I placed it, I was enjoying a lovely day out with Yeetrees, CartertoniC and jojo&dobby. The loop took us up to the Totara Flats turnoff and down Gentle Annie Track - leisurly at just under six hours.
