Geocache Description:

This geocache is a forest behind the artist's home/studio. It has been placed with their permission. Park on the road, follow the driveway and walk along the side of the field. Don't touch the electric fence! Best to do this during daylight hours. At the posted coordinates you will find a metal tool hanging from a tree to help retrieve the geocache. There are many mosquitoes at this geocache.

This cache will be archived sometime around October 11, as the UCA 2016 season is ending soon.

Congratulations to Carol.O for FTF!

This is part of a series of 16 geocaches placed near outdoor art installations. The geocaches will only be available until mid-October. There will also be a bonus geocache for those who find all 16 in the series (look for a number between 1 and 99 on the logbook or container). For other geocaches in the series, see the bookmark list UCA 2016.

Stop 9: "Forest Bell" by Alan Bateman

Artist's description of the installation:"Like the pealing of the bells calling parishioners, installed is a bellpull that traces its way through the forest to activate a mechanical hammer on a “found bell”. A call to worship in nature."
