Vic Reeves ' Big Night Out was the first televised Reeves and Mortimer series. The series featured characters such as Les The Scientist (who loved spirit levels but was afraid of chives), Morrisey The Consumer Monkey (who delivered a "Watchdog" style segment often outing many dangerous products produced by the company "Reeves And Mortimer"), Graham Lister (Reeves' nemesis, who delighted in calling Vic a "Workshy Fop") and many other zany characters.
