After spending winter 2016 in warmer climes the Quy Quercus is back up nestling in the branches. Enjoy The 70 acres of Quy fen form an oasis surrounded by arable land. Quite rightly there are a number of caches out here but this one is for those who dont necessarily always like to keep their feet on the ground. .The start is easy but the cache is very high up possibly 15 meters.
Park in Quy, Lode or Horningsea and enjoy a stroll out onto the fen The history like the wildlife of this peaceful place is very diverse and it is well worth obtaining one of the online leaflets to enhance a visit. A walk across the fen can also be combined with a visit to Angelsey Abbey. Placed with the kind permission of the Quy Fen trust who manage this utterly beautiful space.
