Geocache Description:

About 7 km south from the border of Slovakia in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county, is a small vilage called Füzérkomlós. Almost 400 people live here on an area of 5,87 km2. The village was first mentioned in historical documents in 12th century under the name Komlós, Comlous, Kumlovs. National blue tourist route long 1160 km is located near the village. Route of Saint Elizabeth from Sátoraljaújhely to Košice can also be found nearby. Beautiful restored castle Füzér stands a few kilomters northeast from this village.

Right past the north end of the village is a small well, which is not usable for drinking at the moment, but nearby benches can provide a pleasant place for rest. The cache is hidden behind the well.
