Make sure to note the ‘fact’ on my green business card. You’ll need it to solve for the final.
Welcome to a series of geocaches celebrating the flora and fauna of the Dundas Valley (and in truth, the greater Hamilton Area). Completing this series will require a hike of approximately 7.5km with some very hilly sections. The scenery is beautiful, and the area is peaceful. Make sure to wear bug spray and keep an eye out for the possibility of poison ivy.
You may be lucky enough to encounter some of the featured creatures,or plants during your caching trip, but you will not find any of them in the containers - that would contravene pretty much every geocaching and moral guideline you could think of!
There are 11 caches in this series: 10 traditional where you will find a ‘fact about the local flora and fauna’ that will need to be noted in order to solve for the final mystery cache ‘FINAL - Flora & Fauna of the Dundas Valley GC6KM8F.
These hides should all be very straightforward and very close to the main trail. Nearly all of them have ample room for TBs, geocoins and trinkets to trade..
