Park in the abandoned trailer park on Preserve property then proceed to the trail head. Head SE on an obvious, but poorly marked trail. About halfway up, you will come to the first set of rocks ... a good spot to catch your breath, get a quick drink, wait for the laggards and get ready for the final hike to the ridge.
Once at the ridge, I recommend you hike SW and take in the view before grabbing the cache on your way back down. You will be greatly rewarded. You are looking for an "adult-sized" bison tube that is large enough for small trackables. BYOP!
The cache is placed, with permission, in the High Rock Mountain Preserve. This tract is available to the public for hiking and hunting, so be sure to wear your 'orange" during hunting season. For more information, refer to the following link. New Jersey Natural Lands Trust
