Fox Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Josie Wales: Apparently someone (local) thinks this is on private property so has said he will dispose of it. This has been here for many years and been ok for that long, so we'll archive it and go on abut our geobusiness.

Geocache Description:

The town of Fox was once a bustling place for many years and so had to have a passage over the creek. The Church was built in 1899. Hope you enjoy the serenity of Fox Valley.

This cache is one of 25 new caches included in the 2016 Grant County Cachers Geocoin Kick Off Event (GC6GFMV). This year's theme is "Bridges of Grant County". While not all of the qualifying caches will be on or near a bridge, the scenic route will take you across several bridges over multiple creeks and forks of the John Day River. We wanted to take time to enjoy the beauty and variety of this important piece of infrastructure, especially as some of them are showing their age. How far could we travel without bridges?
