Our old ice skating/hockey pond during the winter on the edge of the Smith Well Site. We wanted to do the old pump house at Smith Well Site, where I would fish and swim as a kid but unfortunately it was covered by one of the rail trail caches. To snag a view while grabbing this cache, cross Union St and go to 42.81926, -71.64724 (our second attempt at the site). To get to the pump house itself go down the rail trail and head east south east from GC6C62R Granite Town Rail Trail Tres and head to 42.81937, -71.647659 (our first attempt at the site). The pump house was used to service both the rail road and the town of Milford back when the Department of Public Works building was the old Milford Water Works.
