I would love for my fellow cachers to approach this as a true letterbox but I am also supplying the final coordinates if you feel the need to fall back on that plan.
To start, move from parking to the trail and start in a westerly direction on the paved path. Just after marker 6 on the path there is an unpaved maintenance road/trail. Turn left and walk south down that maintenance trail to the first waypoint which is a T in the maintenance trail. From this waypoint you will walk west, still on the maintenance trail for 100 paces (about 260 feet). Turn to the north and you will see an oak tree about 10 feet from trail. Look up.
No climbing or bushwacking needed - make note of how the cache is attached for your retrieval, please be careful in retrieving the cache and of course please replace and reinstall the cache as you found it.
