Haunted Rio Pay Phone Traditional Cache

This is a small P&G, it is hidden pretty well. It can be slightly tricky to find and remove so be gentle with it and please place it back exactly how it was found! Happy caching! 

This pay phone is located directly outside of the Blue Rose, a once thriving resturaunt located in Rio. As kids we hide on the otherside of the street and wait for people to walk by and call the pay phone to see the sort of reactions we could get. It has been so many years since the Blue Rose has been in buisness and the pay phone is no longer in service... or is it??? After about 10 years my friends and I found the number for the pay phone while looking through old contacts in my phone and decided why not try and give it a call. The first time we called it rang several times then nothing, as if someone had answered the phone. We immediatly called back and got a busy signal. The third time we called we got nothing but static. We were so curious to see what was going on that we drove all the way from where we were to go to the pay phone. Turns out it was still on the hook but once it is picked up you can hear a lot of scratchy noises. If you call the payphone chances are it won't ring but if you do pick it up at the same time you called, can faintly hear yourself behind the static. Have fun and happy caching!
