The solution is in the form of N xx xx.xxx W xxx xx.xxx

In a midnight hour decision city officials acted on the opportunity to relocate a small zoo to Morgan Hill. Construction of the facility began and is nearly completed. Unfortunately the animals arrived by train hours before the zoo was ready to receive them.

Meanwhile, railroad personnel reluctantly assisted in off-loading this unusual cargo. Not really having a clue what to do they decided to tie the animals to the perimeter fence. Fortunately they were segregated into groups.

It is imperative to populate the zoo in a specific order. The former zoo's manager sent a list of the best order. Railroad personnel also made a note of the location of, and the number of animals in each species group. The lists need to be matched up:

It fell upon the shoulders of the MH blind Zookeeper to manage the situation in the middle of the night. She's glad you volunteered to help sort it all out. She is standing at the Posted Coordinates. It's easy to tell there are animals to the right and to the left of where she stands.

Since she is unable to read the blind zookeeper relies on her memory of what she has been told to get things done. In this case, she has been told the spacing of the animal groups tied to the fence ... but not which species, how many of each, and exactly in what order (sequence) of the spacing. She doesn't know which direction from her position to find which animals either.

She could really use your help figuring it all out.

Once the numbers of animals and the groups are determined she can then figure out the correct sequence to move the animals in to the zoo. She will also figure out if any of the animals are missing.

By the way, the (metaphorical) "gate" to the zoo, when "unlocked" with the puzzle solution, is where you will find the solitary Bison.

SPACING:(in numerical order but NOT in sequential order):
8 / 27 / 33 / 39 / 45 / 50 / 61 / 69

ANIMALS (####) :
Apes ( ) Bunnies ( 7 ) Giraffes ( 1 ) Jaguars ( )
Lemurs ( ) Monkeys ( ) Newts ( 3 ) 0rangutans ( )
0strich ( ) Parrots ( ) Sloth ( ) Tortoises ( )
Wallabies ( 12 ) Zebra ( )

SEQUENCE Animals should pass thru Bison guarded gate into Zoo:
N B 0 T J Z S W G L 0 A M P
checksum 62

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

With successful resolution of this zookeeper's dilemma everyone who has assisted can walk away with permanent smiles.
