First Fish Caught!
In this same nearby creek (a little further downstream), my brother and I brought my boy up here camping. He had never caught a fish before, but today that all changed. We found a nice little sweet spot, and he caught 3 fish all by himself!

The exact place we did this already had a cache nearby, but this seemed a nice spot, with ample parking and the trailhead nearby, etc. It is a regular sized cache, with lots of fun swag, and I think will be a hit with kids if you bring them along. We hope you enjoy! It is about 20 feet from the parking area, in the opposite direction of the trail leading away. Happy Trails!
