Koursoumlo Traditional Cache

Molyvoti is actually the name of a small peninsula, surrounded by two lakes and the sea. It has a couple of non-organized beaches, as only the largest one has a canteen operating during the summer. 

On the top of the peninsula (called Koursoumlo) there is a small chapel from which panoramic view of the bay is revealed. On Molyvoti ruins of the ancient town of Strymi have been found.

The view of this side is AMAZING!! You will see the sea (The Thracian Sea is a sea that is part of the Aegean Sea), the two lakes, and the mountens behind.. 

The road is paved until you reach the peninsula, after that it turns into a dirt road but its condition is good and suitable for cars.
