This neighborhood is home to a feathered celebrity. He goes by many names. But, most call him Pete or Mr. P. He is a gorgeous peacock and the catalyst for this area of uptown becoming a bird sanctuary; after escaping SPCA capture. The community rallied around him and he is here to stay! Some say he's been around since Katrina and you can see him strut his stuff or hear him squawk pretty much anytime. But, mostly sunrise and sunset. Keep your eyes open and snap a picture if you see him.
