Grave Walkers Cache #6 - Deal Cemetery Traditional Cache

Welcome to Deal Cemetery, a small local cemetery, the resting place of about 43 souls, and according to another geocacher, thank you, there are slave burials, which are unmarked, in the upper part of the cemetery. This tiny cemetery is located along the side of Fairview Road on a well kept hillside. 

Although this cemetery is called "Deal," the first burial is not that of a member of the Deal family, but of Mahala Cazy, wife of John Cazy, who passed away in 1875.

The easiest way to arrive at this cemetery is to take Ashton-Upland Road, turn onto Mt. Zion Road, and then onto Fairview.
