This is the 6th in a series of caches in and around the towns of Tredegar and Ebbw Vale which is where me and my husband grew up. We very often take our little girl Kida to places that we went to when we were young and recall our memories. We thought it would be nice to share these places with everyone else.
The bridge that you are standing on was once a railway bridge with steam trains passing over it many times a day. By the time I was a child the trains had sadly long gone and the bridge had a brick wall built on either end to stop people crossing. Under the bridge runs a river and as children this was one of our favourite places to play. We would spend hours building dams to cross the river and dens in the trees.
The cycle path that is here today is reguraly used by dog walkers so please just take a minute to check the coast is clear. This is a nano cache so please bring your own pen.
