Countess Chocula Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

ABPOB: Thanks to the recent finders for noting in their logs that the blue sign is missing. The sign indicated that the parking lot is an official Park and Ride but further investigation showed that it is no longer a P&R, therefore no longer a public lot. There's no other public parking at WP1 so I must unfortunately archive this cache. Thanks to all that visited! I'll be retrieving the container when I'm nearby again.

Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. This is a Multi-cache where you need to gather information at the posted coordinates to determine the final coordinates where the cache is placed.

When I was a youngster one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast was Count Chocula. But why should the guy get all the glory? This cache is a tribute to the woman behind the legend, The Countess.

There is a free and legal Park and Ride at the posted coordinates. A neighborhood church shares the parking lot.

At the posted coordinates you'll find one blue sign and two yellow signs. The final coordinates will be a short walk away at N 38° 43.ABC W 121° 16.DEF

A: On the blue sign there's a number to call for info. Add up all the digits for A.
B: On the blue sign the 2nd digit of the number to call is B.
C: On the blue sign the 3rd digit of the number to call is C.

The sum of the digits A through C = 9

D: On the back of both yellow signs there's a yellow sticker. The top row has a 5-letter man's name. Convert the first letter of the name to a digit and subtract 1 for D.
E: The number directly below the middle letter of the man's name on the yellow sticker is E.
F: On the blue sign the middle digit of the number to call is F.

The sum of the digits D through F = 18
