A cache to compliment my original Woodstock Wander cache placed a little over 3 years prior. Mind you, you many no easily be able to access both of these at the same time! Additionally - you WILL NOT be able to access this cache when the river is in flood.
Woodstock is a lovely homestead on a 4,000-acre sheep and cattle farm on the banks of the Murrumbidgee. The Retallacks have lived here for 5 generations! They have survived 2 massive fires! The first one was in January 1939 – which came within less that 1km of the homestead – a lucky change of wind saved the property, although many sheep were lost. Then during the massive Canberra fires of 2003 the flames got to within 30m of the homestead! Again it was saved!
