Geocache Description:

Living in the Santa Cruz mountains has given me the unique opportunity to cache on both sides of the hill regularly. I've definitely noticed differences. The Santa Cruz County side has the redwoods and the coast and a generally chill attitude about caching. It's not uncommon for caches to go unfound for a year or more (sadly). The Santa Clara County side has the gorgeous open spaces, fantastic urban caches, and a high-energy excitement about caching. I love them both!

To log this cache, you must have found a minimum of 50 caches in Santa Cruz County and 50 caches in Santa Clara County. There are no limits on D/T, cache size, cache type, or anything else. The only restriction is that cache owners may not use their own caches to satisfy the challenge requirements. To see if you qualify, use the checker:

Naturally, the cache itself is hidden on the Santa Cruz/Santa Clara County line (at the posted coordinates). You can park at the corner of Summit Rd. and Woolaroc Drive. There are some small berry bushes between that parking spot and the cache, but they're easily avoided. There's minimal, easily avoidable poison oak in the area. Signal isn't great here, but you'll find the cache just beyond the tree line (the back edge of the cleared area). Happy hunting!

Congrats to Michael_SFBA on the FTF!
