Christmas memories for me include growing up on a farm in Curra near Gympie. we spent many times at the beach also but there are no beaches here. We had a bean farm and the farm house had a fantastic view overlooking mountains and a dam. I chose this spot because of its beautiful views overlooking Karalee and of the river snaking around and also overlooking the mountains out on the scenic rim. It is quite a magical spot.
The best place to park to access this cache is in Wattle St and please be careful when crossing the road. Please be careful up here on Barnes Hill, it's a very steep drop but take a moment and enjoy the scenery and please be careful when retrieving the cache as it is yes quite steep, not suitable for children! Please place the cache back as you found it.
