FTF honors have been bestowed, final page edits completed and future events planned. Please do keep an eye out for upcoming events in the greater Hagerstown/Four State/Washington, D.C Metroplex. Geocache Description:


Yes! It's almost the 4th of July and that means it's time for an event or two to celebrate! If you're in the Waldorf, MD area and are available please feel free to stop by and join us for an ice cream social.

Who:
Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join in the madness. We'll be continuing the day by meeting near Waldorf, MD for yummy ice cream and frozen treats. If you're passing through be sure to stop in, sign the logbook, say hello and keep on truckin'.

When:
Saturday July 2nd, 2016

Why:
To eat yummy ice cream and frozen treats, meet, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event. Just be sure that you obey posted hours!

Extra things to keep in mind:

  • If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
  • Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for food and drinks.
